KATHMANDU: Yamaha Nepal has announced the return of its annual Yamaha Blue Fest, which will take place at Bhrikuti Mandap from April 12 to 18.

The week-long event will open with an inauguration ceremony that includes the launch of the new Yamaha FZ-S New Zen: Lead the Next. MAW Rides said the launch will set the tone for a festival focused on innovation, performance and customer engagement.

Blue Fest is being presented as a complete two-wheeler experience for motorcycle enthusiasts, families and potential buyers. Attendees will be able to view Yamaha’s upgraded hi-tech motorcycles and scooters, explore purchase options and take part in on-site activities throughout the week.

A new feature this year is the 'Exchange Carnival', which Yamaha Nepal said will simplify the process for customers wishing to upgrade their rides. Visitors can bring existing motorcycles for on-the-spot evaluation supported by more than 50 professional recon houses, to secure competitive market valuations and facilitate quick exchanges to new Yamaha models.

Yamaha Nepal is also promoting easier access to financing during the festival. On-the-spot financing will be available with the presentation of citizenship documents, and flexible low-EMI plans extend up to 40 months. Buyers can additionally benefit from cashback offers of up to Rs 500,000, and the New Year Blue Code scheme will be applicable throughout the event.

“Yamaha Blue Fest is a celebration of innovation and our connection with riders in Nepal. It’s an opportunity for customers to experience our upgraded hi-tech two-wheelers and enjoy a rewarding ownership journey,” said Deepak Agrawal, Executive Director and CEO of MAW Rides.

Beyond sales and financing, Yamaha Nepal said the Blue Fest will feature entertainment and engagement activities, including stunt shows, meet-and-greet sessions with top riders, creators and celebrities, and a cosplay artist performance. MAW Rides also announced that door prizes and free accessories will be distributed during the festival.

Yamaha Nepal’s Blue Fest has become a notable event for two-wheeler enthusiasts across the country, combining promotional offers with experiential attractions. This year’s edition aims to expand trade-in support, financing options and on-site entertainment to attract a broad range of visitors.
