KATHMANDU: British Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, at his office on Wednesday.
According to the minister’s private secretariat, the two discussed a range of issues related to Nepal-UK relations and explored avenues for mutual cooperation and collaboration in the education sector.
Expressing gratitude for the assistance the UK government has provided to Nepal’s educational development, Minister Pokharel sought further support for the establishment and operation of schools for children with autism in all seven provinces.
He also requested the ambassador’s help in strengthening those schools through resource provision and human resource development to ensure effective service delivery, the secretariat said.
