KATHMANDU: CG, one of Nepal’s longest-standing consumer electronics brands, has launched a new line of desert coolers 'Frostline', as part of its annual campaign 'Experience Life with CG'.
The Frostline series expands CG’s desert cooler portfolio with models designed to meet rising consumer demand and the cooling needs of modern households. The new line-up includes massive-tank models Frostline 110-litre and 95-litre. According to the company, these models offer the largest water capacity available in the market to reduce the need for frequent refills. CG also introduced mid-range models Frostline 75-litre and 55-litre, aimed at small and medium rooms, promising powerful cooling with low energy consumption.
CG said the Frostline addition strengthens an already broad cooler range. The company currently markets 28 cooler models across five categories: Desert Cooler, Commercial Cooler, Personal Cooler, Tower Cooler, and Window Cooler, with capacities spanning 22 litres to 125 litres.
The new series incorporates several technical features intended to improve performance and user comfort. Key specifications highlighted by CG include a double ball bearing motor for durability and quiet operation, an ice chamber for extra cold air, advanced honeycomb pads for prolonged coolness, and a powerful air throw to distribute air across the room.
CG emphasised its long-standing presence in the Nepali market, noting more than 40 years of operations and an after-sales network of 21 modern showrooms and 40 service centres nationwide. The company also pointed to online purchasing through its official website, cgdigital.com.np, as part of its distribution and service strategy.
Launched under the campaign 'Experience Life with CG', the Frostline series is presented as a response to this year’s severe heat and as part of CG’s broader commitment to deliver modern technology, innovation, and quality service throughout the Nepali year 2083.
