KATHMANDU: Syakar Trading Company, part of the Padma Jyoti Group and the authorised distributor for Honda in Nepal, has inaugurated two premium Honda service centres as part of a wider plan to expand its nationwide service network.
The newly opened centres are in Tripureshwor — relocated from the Teku facility — and at Jyoti Bhawan, Kantipath. The inauguration on Friday was attended by Toshio Kuwahara, Vice President of Honda Motor Co, Head of Regional Unit (Asia and Oceania), Regional Operations (Associated Regions), who served as the chief guest. Company leaders Saurabh Jyoti, Chairman of Syakar Trading Company, and Suhrid Jyoti, Vice Chairman, were also present.

Syakar Trading Company said the openings mark the first phase of a rollout that will bring six state-of-the-art service centres into operation. The company said the expansion aims to deliver 'more convenient, faster, and higher-quality services' to Honda customers across Nepal and to strengthen its nationwide presence in the coming days.
A central element of the initiative is the company’s new 'Premium Service at the Same Price' concept, under which customers will receive upgraded, world-class service without any increase in cost. Syakar said the move reflects a customer-first approach, with staff trained to prioritise convenience and satisfaction throughout the service process.

The service centres are being positioned as full 3S facilities — showroom, service and spare parts under one roof — staffed by skilled mechanics and equipped with modern amenities. Visitors to the centres will find complimentary cold drinks and coffee, a comfortable customer waiting lounge, and guaranteed availability of genuine Honda spare parts.
Syakar Trading Company also highlighted several technical and operational upgrades coming to the premium centres, including advanced diagnostic tools, a digital service-tracking system, and fast service bays designed to reduce turnaround time while maintaining quality.
The company reiterated its commitment to providing international-standard service experiences for Honda owners in Nepal and said further expansions will follow as part of its nationwide strategy.
