KATHMANDU: The Startup Network Nepal (TSN) has launched Founders Hub, a five-month accelerator and incubation programme aimed at building, scaling and funding high-impact startups across Nepal. Applications for the inaugural cohort will open on May 10.
The programme will run two cohorts each year, with 50 startups per cohort and a total capacity of 100 startups annually. TSN said the Founders Hub is structured to support startups from ideation to investment readiness through a phased curriculum, mentorship and investor access.
The accelerator is divided into two phases. The first three months will focus on incubation and acceleration, during which participating teams will validate ideas, build minimum viable products, refine business models and receive sector-specific mentorship through bi-monthly expert sessions. The final two months will be dedicated to investor readiness, offering pitch development, financial modelling and direct introductions to TSN’s investor network, which includes commercial banks, private equity firms and independent investors.
Startups will be accepted in two categories: revenue-based startups, which must have a minimum annual revenue of Rs 500,000 and at least one year of operations, and idea-stage startups, which cover early-stage concepts and innovations. TSN said the programme will follow an inclusive but performance-driven approach and aims to identify and fully support at least 10 high-potential startups each year to help them secure funding and scale.
The initiative will prioritise ventures in information technology, artificial intelligence, healthcare and medicine, agriculture, and service and commercial sectors. TSN said Founders Hub will act as a national platform to bridge innovation, mentorship and capital and to strengthen the pipeline of investable startups in Nepal.
Interested startups are advised to follow official announcements from The Startup Network Nepal for application details.
