KAVREPALANCHOK: Vehicular movement along the BP Highway resumed this morning after a road diversion was constructed. The route had come to a standstill for the past three days due to flooding.

The road was blocked by flooding in Roshi River following rainfall on Monday, and traffic along the section resumed once the diversion was put in place.

Meanwhile, District Police Office, Kavre, has urged people not to travel via this section except in cases of urgency, as rainfall continues.

Officials said the diversion was built after landslides and floods swept away around 18 kilometres of road at Chaukidanda, Roshi and Nepalthok in Sindhuli along the BP Highway last year. Construction of the damaged road along the highway is underway.
