KATHMANDU: Newly elected central executive committee of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) assumed office today, with Anjan Shrestha taking over as president.
Shrestha, who served as senior vice president in the previous committee, assumed the presidency and took office in accordance with the FNCCI statute. The newly elected office-bearers took their posts at a programme organised in Kathmandu.
Outgoing president Chandra Prasad Dhakal formally handed over the post to Shrestha at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, FNCCI President Shrestha said the new leadership would continue discussions and collaboration with the government to create an environment that boosts the morale of private sector.
