Top 10 ideas selected from Bagmati Province for National Idea Hunt Season 9

KATHMANDU: The Bagmati Province chapter of National Idea Hunt Season 9, organised by Idea Studio Nepal, concluded on Tuesday with the selection of the top 10 ideas that will advance to the national round.

A two-day incubation programme for 25 selected ideators was held on May 3-4 at Model Institute of Technology College. The sessions covered entrepreneurship development, business model refinement, pitching techniques, market opportunities and mentorship.

Seventeen teams presented their concepts at a pitching event on Tuesday at United College. After evaluation by a jury panel, 10 ideas were chosen to move forward to the national stage.

The ideas selected from Bagmati Province are Swad ko Bhandar, Sharevio App, Pasa Pucha Khaja, Byte Jar Technology, Nepal Eco Creation, Happu Treats, Maayu Creations, Sugandhika, Saai Constructions and Agro Range Nepal.

The final pitching jury included Dr Vivek Shrestha, Suruchi Khadka, Laxman Pokhrel and Jackson Subedi.

Idea Studio Nepal said the selected entries from all seven provinces will enter a seven-day national incubation phase before the grand finale pitching event. The organisation has already confirmed entries from other provinces: four ideas from Koshi, six from Lumbini, five from Gandaki, five from Madhesh, and six each from Sudurpashchim and Karnali for National Idea Hunt Season 9.
