JANAKPUR: Ather Nepal has opened a new Ather Experience Centre in Janakpur, expanding the electric scooter maker’s retail and service network in the country.

The outlet in the Mills Area, operated by dealer Nitin Trade Link, held its official launch at 1:00 pm on Monday. The addition brings Ather Nepal’s tally to 10 Experience Centres nationwide, including five in the Kathmandu Valley and outlets in Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari and Butwal. The company also runs nine authorised service centres to support after-sales care.

The Janakpur centre will display Ather’s full product range, including the performance-focused Ather 450 series and the family-oriented Ather Rizta. The Ather 450 series offers strong acceleration, Google Maps-based navigation, AutoHold, Fall Safe, reverse mode, multiple ride modes and a responsive touchscreen dashboard. Rizta targets everyday family use with a spacious seat, large storage capacity, traction control, tow and theft alerts, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard and comfort-focused ergonomics.

Visitors to the new centre can view live vehicle displays, take test rides of both models, learn about connected features, explore financing and exchange options, and receive guidance on EV ownership and charging.

Ather Nepal highlighted its growing charging network as part of the rollout. Customers can access an expanding Ather Grid fast-charging network of more than 40 stations across major cities and highways, which the company says will support longer-distance travel and everyday convenience for electric vehicle owners.

The company also offers an extended battery warranty of eight years, which it calls the longest in Nepal’s two-wheeler EV segment. To mark the Janakpur opening, Ather is offering limited-time incentives valid until 4th Jestha 2083, including the extended battery warranty, 0% interest financing and enhanced exchange valuation benefits.

Vaidya Energy, the sole distributor of Ather electric two-wheelers in Nepal, said the new centre aligns with its goal of accelerating the country’s shift to clean and sustainable mobility through innovative and customer-focused EV solutions.

Customers, media and EV enthusiasts were invited to attend the grand opening and experience the new facility.
