SIDDHARTHANAGAR: Lumbini Construction Entrepreneurs Association on Friday said construction entrepreneurs were facing hardship running projects due to rising prices of construction materials and fuel.
Association chair Ramesh Belbase said they were having a tough time running construction projects because of price hikes in fuel and building materials. He said the prices of fuel, cement, bitumen and other essential construction materials have been unexpectedly hiked recently, forcing project progress into a critical phase.
Chair Belbase urged the government to facilitate bank guarantees, insurance, advance payments and other banking provisions so that entrepreneurs can continue to run the projects.
