UN Resident Coordinator Yahia calls on President Paudel
KATHMANDU: United Nations Resident Coordinator in Nepal, Lila Pieters Yahia, paid a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel at Sheetal Niwas today.
According to the Office of the President, they discussed ways to increase cooperation between Nepal and the United Nations, with the meeting focusing on strengthening collaboration across areas of mutual interest.
The visit underscores ongoing engagement between Nepal’s leadership and UN representatives as both sides seek to expand joint efforts on development and humanitarian priorities, the office said.
