Godrej launches Visi Cooler series in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Godrej has introduced its new Visi Cooler series to the Nepali market, targeting commercial establishments that need to display and preserve chilled products. The company said the line combines modern technology, energy-efficient systems and user-friendly features to support storage of beverages, dairy items and other temperature-sensitive goods.

The series includes two models, VC EDXX 390X 1RNL RW and VC EDXX 335X 1RNL RW, offering gross capacities of 365 litres and 315 litres and usable capacities of 345 litres and 295 litres, respectively. The company said the storage space is intended to make it easier for retailers and foodservice operators to arrange products systematically.

Key features of the Visi Cooler series include Low Emissivity Glass to reduce the effect of external heat and help maintain internal temperatures, and a Large Evaporator Fan that circulates cold air for more uniform cooling throughout the cabinet. The company said an Anti-Condensation System prevents steam or water buildup on the glass, while LED interior lighting provides clear product visibility with low energy consumption.

Godrej has also equipped the units with a Tropicalised Compressor designed for stable operation in high ambient temperatures, and adjustable shelves to accommodate products of different sizes. The company said the Energy-Efficient Cooling System is intended to lower electricity consumption during commercial use.

In Nepal, CG Electronics is the official seller and distributor of Godrej home appliances. The company said, alongside the new Visi Coolers, CG Electronics markets Godrej refrigerators, chest freezers, washing machines, microwave ovens and air conditioners to meet local demand with technology-driven, consumer-friendly products.
