KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is mobilising Rs 100 billion today to manage liquidity in the banking system.
In a notice, the central bank said it will auction a deposit collection instrument with a term of 61 days.
Bidding is being conducted through NRB’s online bidding system and will remain open until 3:00 pm today.
Payment of principal and interest on the instrument will be made on July 22, 2026, the notice said.
Applications may be submitted for a minimum of Rs 100 million and up to the full amount called, provided bids are in multiples of Rs 50 million.
