KATHMANDU: Asian Batteries has appointed national cricket team all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee as its brand ambassador and launched a new line of batteries under the Voltex series.
The company held a special programme in Kathmandu attended by more than 400 dealers, retailers and business partners from across the country. Asian Batteries said the event marked a key step in its brand expansion and strategic growth.
According to the company, the Voltex series aims to bring uniformity across its product range while strengthening branding and improving quality. The series is manufactured with an emphasis on modern technology, durability and performance, and the company expressed confidence it will set new standards in Nepal’s automobile market.
Airee, who attended the launch, said he was proud to collaborate with a high-quality Nepali brand and noted that consumer trust in Nepali products is rising. He added that the reputation Asian Batteries has built in the industrial sector is commendable.
At the event, Asian Batteries presented awards and honours to retailers and distributors who have contributed to the company’s market growth and sales promotion, calling their efforts a central factor in the company’s success.
Chairman Suresh Lohani said Asian Batteries has made notable contributions to the Nepali automobile sector and credited the company’s market success to its commitment to quality, reliability and after-sales service. He said the company will continue to introduce products based on innovative technology and create new opportunities in the automotive field.
The company said it supplies products to international automotive brands including Bajaj, Hero, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda and Isuzu. It operates a production centre in Biratnagar and a corporate office in Kathmandu, and follows an international-standard production system.
The company added that each battery undergoes strict testing before reaching the market, and that it provides after-sales service and technical support through a nationwide service network. Having begun as a domestic industry, Asian Batteries said it is now expanding towards international markets with the goal of promoting 'Made in Nepal' products globally.
