KATHMANDU: Shangrila Motors has cut the price of the newly launched Leapmotor B10 (2026 model, top‑spec variant) in Nepal to Rs 5.499 million, down from Rs 6 million.

The company said it will absorb recent cost increases rather than pass them on to buyers, returning a saving of Rs 500,000 to customers compared with the earlier figure. The move contrasts with industry‑wide hikes driven by rising foreign exchange rates and new import duties.

Notably, the B10 top‑spec variant is a feature‑rich electric SUV. Safety highlights include a Euro NCAP five‑star rating and a Level 2 advanced driver‑assistance system, and the vehicle comes with a standard spare tyre. The powertrain pairs a 160 kW motor with a 67.1 kWh battery, offering a claimed CLTC range of up to 600 km and a ground clearance of 180 mm.

In addition, comfort and connectivity features for the model include heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The company emphasised the combination of safety, range and in‑cabin technology as key selling points for buyers seeking a comprehensive EV package.

Leapmotor is backed by Stellantis, the global automotive group that includes brands such as Maserati, Jeep and Peugeot. The manufacturer has reported cumulative global sales exceeding one million vehicles, with 81,569 units delivered in May, and operates a network of more than 1,700 sales and service points across over 40 countries.
