KATHMANDU: Subhashree College of Management has been awarded the 'Excellence in Industry‑Academia Partnership' at the Education Excellence Award 2026 for building strong links between academic study and industry needs.
Affiliated to Pokhara University, the college runs career‑oriented Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and Bachelor of Computer System and Information Technology (BCSIT) programmes. Manita Oli, head of the institute, said the courses are designed to equip students with practical, industry‑ready skills demanded by today’s labour market.
“What makes Subhashree different from other colleges is its extensive partnerships with the country’s leading corporate houses, industries and hotels,” Oli said. “The college has signed numerous agreements with these institutions. Those agreements are not merely paper; students benefit directly through internships, practical experience and clear career pathways while still studying.”
Oli added that graduate employment figures underline the college’s approach. “Subhashree’s students are successfully entering the workforce not only within Nepal but also in various sectors abroad,” she said. “From hospitality and business to IT, Subhashree’s graduates are entering roles ready to work from day one, which validates the strength of the college’s industry‑oriented teaching model and corporate network.”
