KATHMANDU: Leapmotor’s B03 electric SUV is set to arrive in Nepal and is expected to make its local debut at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
Shangrila Motors, the authorised sole importer of Leapmotor vehicles in Nepal, confirmed that the first B03 unit has left China and is en route to Nepal. The importer said the model will be offered in two variants with different battery sizes and some feature differences.
The compact SUV, known as the A10 in China and marketed as the B03 internationally, was first shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show. It is built on a next-generation architecture with front-wheel drive powered by a 100-kW peak motor that delivers 200 Nm of torque. Standard equipment listed in the release includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD touchscreen, Level 2 ADAS driver assistance and a 510-litre boot.
The A10 has seen strong demand in China, contributing to Leapmotor’s record sales of 93,376 units in June. Leapmotor is backed by Stellantis and reports total global sales exceeding 1.5 million vehicles, supported by more than 1,700 sales and service points across over 40 countries.
Shangrila Motors and Leapmotor expect the B03 to compete in Nepal’s affordable SUV segment, and the companies point to the brand’s international after-sales network as support for prospective buyers. The vehicle’s formal public showing in Nepal is anticipated at the NAIMA Mobility Expo.
