KATHMANDU: Sanskriti International School (Thulobharyang) has partnered with Shree Panchakanya Secondary School (Chhauni) to offer free FAB Lab classes to students from the community school, the two institutions announced on Sunday.

The programme launched with an interactive opening session in which participating students completed a lab safety orientation and began hands-on work with digital fabrication tools and creative design concepts. Over the coming academic year, the curriculum will introduce learners to STEAM projects including 3D printing, coding and artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, photography and visual effects, with an emphasis on developing projects that benefit the local community.

School officials characterised the arrangement as a non-commercial partnership aimed at narrowing the digital divide and giving community students practical exposure to contemporary technology and creative problem-solving. Sanskriti International School said the programme seeks to equip participants with 21st-century skills and hands-on experience that could support future learning and local projects.
