KATHMANDU: Crossfire officially introduced the LETBE Flygon 220 in Nepal at a launch event in Lalitpur on Monday, marking LETBE’s entry into the Nepali motorcycle market.

The cross‑terrain motorcycle is offered in two variants: the Flygon 220 City, priced at Rs 549,999, and the Flygon 220 Hills, priced at Rs 574,999. The models give riders a choice according to lifestyle, terrain and riding needs.

Both variants are powered by a 220cc single‑cylinder, air‑cooled engine with Bosch EFI, producing 12.8 kW at 7,500 rpm and 17 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power is transmitted via a five‑speed gearbox and chain‑drive transmission.

The Flygon 220 City is fitted with street‑focused tyres for responsive handling on urban roads, highways and occasional light off‑road routes. The Flygon 220 Hills comes with adventure‑oriented knobbly tyres to provide extra grip on gravel roads, mountain routes and light off‑road terrain.

Designed for Nepali riders and roads, the motorcycle has a 780 mm low seat height to suit riders of average Nepali height and 230 mm ground clearance to cope with speed bumps, uneven surfaces and gravel tracks. Wheel sizes are 130/80‑18 front and 180/80‑14 rear, a large profile for the segment that enhances grip and stability while giving the bike a muscular road presence.

The LETBE Flygon 220 includes smart technology and rider features such as a 2.8‑inch TFT display, passive keyless entry, push‑start ignition, a smart locking system and an anti‑theft alarm. An upright riding position, an optimised rider triangle and a low centre of gravity aim to improve comfort and control for both novice and experienced riders.

Developed under the concept of a 'Mechanical Companion' and the theme 'One Bike. Every Road. Every Purpose.', the Flygon 220 is engineered to perform on city streets, highways, mountain roads and light off‑road trails, combining commuter practicality with touring and adventure capability.

The model is backed by a five‑year warranty, which Crossfire says reflects confidence in the bike’s engineering, durability and long‑term reliability.

Crossfire Nepal said it remains committed to bringing performance‑focused, adventure‑ready and lifestyle‑oriented motorcycles to the market and to encouraging riders to explore beyond conventional boundaries.
