CG launches four new single-door Meridia refrigerators in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Electronics brand CG has launched four new single-door refrigerators in Nepal under its premium Meridia Series.

The models — CGMS220DLRI, CGMS220DLBI, CGMS220LRI and CGMS220LBI — offer a gross capacity of 200 litres and a net capacity of 190 litres. They are available in the colours 'Leafy Wine' and 'Leafy Blue' and are intended to complement modern kitchen interiors while providing practical storage.

CG said the units are fitted with a digital inverter compressor to improve energy efficiency and to operate smoothly at low voltages down to 110 volts. Temperature control uses Turbo Cooling Technology and Advanced Capillary Cooling Technology. The refrigerators include Farm Freshness technology and a Jumbo Vegetable Tray to help preserve produce.

Two models, CGMS220DLRI and CGMS220DLBI, include a separate dry basket for items commonly stored outside the cooling compartment such as onions and potatoes. The CGMS220LRI and CGMS220LBI variants come with an apron base for a premium look. All four models feature a lock-and-key system for secure storage.

The company said the launch reflects its slogan, 'Experience Life with CG,' and is intended to make daily kitchen tasks easier for Nepali families. CG said the Meridia line is its signature premium series combining advanced technology, high performance and luxury design.

CG Electronics, which has operated in Nepal’s consumer electronics market for more than 40 years, will distribute the refrigerators through 21 CG Digital showrooms nationwide, its official websites www.cgdigital.com.np and www.cginspiringlife.com, and authorised retail outlets. After-sales support will be provided via a network of 40 service centres across the country.
