Gold price rises to Rs 296,900, silver to Rs 4,580
KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices edged up in the local market on Friday, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) said.
FENEGOSIDA reported that the price of fine gold rose by Rs 900 per tola to reach Rs 296,900, up from Rs 296,000 on the previous trading day.
Silver increased by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 4,580, compared with Rs 4,570 a day earlier.
International market rates cited by international media put gold at $4,262 per ounce and silver at $58 per ounce.
