KATHMANDU: Fine gold prices in the domestic market climbed to Rs 301,700 per tola today, an increase of Rs 4,800 from Friday’s close, according to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA). Silver also rose, trading at Rs 4,645 per tola, up Rs 65 from the previous session.
On Friday, fine gold stood at Rs 296,900 per tola, up Rs 900 from Thursday’s rate of Rs 296,000 per tola. Silver traded at Rs 4,580 per tola on Friday, a Rs 10 increase from Thursday’s Rs 4,570 per tola.
In international markets, gold was quoted between $3,958 and $3,969 per ounce today. Global silver traded in a range of $57.88 to $58.56 per ounce.
