KATHMANDU: Nepali Army has rescued more than 300 people after a landslide struck Risang area of Bheri Municipality-2 in Jajarkot district.
A team from the Bhawani Dal Battalion, working with other security agencies and local residents, carried out search-and-rescue operations and moved the survivors to a safe location, the Nepali Army Directorate of Public Relations and Information said.
The army team also rescued eight people who were injured in the landslide and recovered the bodies of four people who died.
