DHARAN: Ather Nepal has opened its 13th Experience Centre at Chaata Chowk in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-1, Sunsari district.

The Dharan outlet will display the Ather 450 series and the family-focused Rizta, with test rides available to customers. The company is also introducing its latest 450X Overtone Series in eastern Nepal through the centre.

The company said it had received more than 25 bookings in Dharan before the centre officially opened.

A special opening offer will remain valid until September 8. Customers can choose one of three options: an extended battery warranty, a 50% down payment plan at 0% interest or an additional valuation of Rs 8,000.

The centre was inaugurated in the presence of Dharan Acting Mayor Aindra Bikram Begha and Sunsari Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Gopal Shrestha. It is now open for product visits and test rides.

According to Ather Nepal, the latest 450 platform includes Magic Twist, which allows riders to decelerate using the throttle; Infinite Cruise, which assists with cruising; and voice interactions, which allow riders to operate certain scooter functions through voice commands.

Ather Nepal said its Eight70 Battery Warranty provides coverage for eight years or 80,000 kilometres and guarantees at least 70% battery health under the applicable warranty conditions.

The company also said it has more than 10 authorised service centres and over 50 fast-charging points across Nepal. According to the company, compatible scooters can be charged from zero to 80% in approximately 45 minutes using its fast-charging network.

Ather now operates Experience Centres in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, Janakpur, Birgunj, Birtamod and Dharan.

Vaidya Energy is Ather's authorised distributor in Nepal and oversees the expansion of its retail, service and charging networks in the country.
