KATHMANDU: NIMB Ace Capital and NIBL Equity Partners, together with investee portfolio companies of NIBL Equity Partners, have provided over Rs 5.6 million in financial assistance to aid citizens affected by recent devastating floods in Nepal.

NIMB Ace Capital and NIBL Equity Partners contributed Rs 2.1 million as part of their corporate social responsibility assistance to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund, while investee portfolio companies of NIBL Equity Partners collectively committed approximately Rs 3.5 million in cash towards the relief efforts.

The funding will support search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations for residents impacted by flooding along the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district, as well as in Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Chitwan and other regions.

Beyond immediate assistance, NIMB Ace Capital and NIBL Equity Partners stated that they remain committed to supporting rebuilding efforts and long-term growth across the affected districts. The companies intend to achieve this through investment initiatives and the future expansion of their branch network, aiming to enhance capital market outreach and broaden access to financial services for households in these areas.

The organisation and its staff also expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the citizens who lost their lives in the floods.
