PM recommends MP Sah as new industry minister

KATHMANDU: The government has recommended Deepak Kumar Sah for appointment as the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Balendra Shah recommended that President Ramchandra Paudel appoint Sah to the ministerial post. Rastriya Swatantra Party member Sah is elected to the House of Representatives from Sunsari Constituency No 4.

The swearing-in ceremony for the newly recommended minister Was scheduled to take place on Thursday.

The development follows the resignation of Gauri Kumari Yadav, who tendered her resignation from the post of Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies to the Prime Minister earlier today.
