KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has dispatched relief materials and essential supplies to assist affected and vulnerable families in Rasuwa district.
The relief package includes biscuits, sanitary pads, blankets, bed sheets and footwear for young children. Rajul Shrestha, NCC Executive Committee member and chief executive officer of the Arkash Group, handed over the items, which comprised donations collected at the NCC alongside products from his own corporate group. Representatives from the Lumbini Social Service Foundation and the Lumbini Youth Club received the supplies on behalf of the local communities.
The supplies are being routed through Trishuli and will reach affected households based on their specific requirements. Volunteers and relevant local organisations will manage the distribution process on the ground, prioritising the immediate provision of basic necessities to citizens within the impacted zones.
"The relief materials have been sent to Rasuwa through the Lumbini Social Service Foundation and Lumbini Youth Club for distribution and coordination with arrangements to deliver the materials to affected and needy families in coordination with local organisations and youth," Shrestha said.
