KATHMANDU: vivo has officially launched the vivo V80 Lite in Nepal, introducing a smartphone that combines an ergonomic curved design, a powerful battery, smooth performance, and an immersive 1.5K AMOLED display.
The device is available across authorised retail stores nationwide from September 13. It comes in two variants, priced at Rs 63,999 for the 8GB and 128GB model, and Rs 73,999 for the 8GB and 256GB model. As a special launch promotion, the first 1,600 customers to purchase the smartphone will receive vivo Buds Air 3 free of charge.
The device operates on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, built on a 4nm process, and is paired with up to 16GB of extended RAM for seamless multitasking. The manufacturer is also offering a 50-month smooth experience guarantee, alongside three generations of operating system updates and five years of security updates to support long-term reliability.
Built around the design philosophy 'Slay Every Edge', the vivo V80 Lite offers flowing curves and a 3D dual-curved screen designed to naturally fit the contours of the hand for greater comfort. This ultra-slim unibody design houses a substantial 7050mAh battery, which provides up to 33 hours of local video playback and up to 12.1 hours of mobile gaming.
Complementing its processing capabilities, the smartphone features a 1.5K ultra-clear AMOLED display that delivers sharp details, vivid colours, and deep blacks. With a 93.82% screen-to-body ratio, it features the largest POLED display in its price segment, providing an expansive viewing experience while maintaining a sleek form factor.
For photography, the V80 Lite is equipped with a 32MP group selfie camera featuring an 84-degree field of view to capture wider group shots while maintaining natural facial details. On the rear, a 50MP Sony clear night portrait camera is integrated to capture detailed portraits in low-light environments.
