The Soaltee Kathmandu launches South Indian Dosa Fiesta

KATHMANDU: The Soaltee Kathmandu, Autograph Collection, has announced the launch of its Dosa Fiesta, bringing the flavours of South India to its Garden Terrace from September 21.

The culinary event will run daily from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, featuring a curated selection of regional dishes, including Chennai Pepper Dosa, Rava Dosa, Egg Dosa, Kari Dosa and Ghee Roast Dosa. The dishes will be prepared by South Indian speciality chef Raja, drawing on his regional expertise and culinary heritage to offer a range of traditional and distinctive preparations accompanied by freshly made condiments.

Showcasing the craft and variety of South Indian cuisine in an open-air setting, each dish offers a distinct texture and flavour profile. The menu ranges from the crisp layers of the Ghee Roast Dosa to the aromatic warmth of the Chennai Pepper Dosa.

Established in 1966, The Soaltee Kathmandu has been part of the local hospitality sector for six decades. Spread across 12 acres of landscaped gardens in Tahachal, the property features 285 rooms and suites, multiple dining venues, event spaces and recreational facilities near key cultural landmarks.
