Turkish Airlines named 'Best Airline in Europe' for 11th time at Skytrax awards

ISTANBUL: Turkish Airlines has been named 'Best Airline in Europe' for the 11th time at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards in London. The airline won eight awards and rose to fifth place in the global rankings.

The carrier also won 'World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering' for the 10th time and was named 'Best Airline in Southern Europe' for the 13th time, with five further awards claimed across economy and business-class categories.

The awards were presented at a ceremony on September 18 and highlighted the airline’s performance as it continues to operate the world’s most extensive flight network, a feat recognised by Guinness World Records for services across six continents.
