Jagdamba Motors to introduce SHACMAN X5000e 6×4 electric tractor, dump truck to Nepal

KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, part of Shanker Group, is set to introduce SHACMAN's X5000e 6×4 Electric Tractor and X5000e 6×4 Electric Dump Truck to Nepal. The upcoming launch will mark the company's entry into the country's electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle market.

The X5000e Electric Tractor is intended for heavy-duty haulage and commercial transport, while the X5000e Electric Dump Truck is built for construction, mining and off-road applications. Both vehicles feature SHACMAN's electric powertrain technology and are built to handle demanding workloads.

Both models support fast charging, offering businesses greater flexibility in managing operational schedules. Intelligent control and battery management systems are included to support efficient and reliable performance across varying working environments.

These models are being introduced as electric vehicles continue to gain ground in Nepal, with the market shift expanding beyond passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Through the two new heavy-duty options, Jagdamba Motors aims to bring electric solutions to sectors including logistics, construction, mining and heavy-load operations as local industries explore electric transport options.
