Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel wins Nepal's Leading Hotel 2026 title at World Travel Awards

KATHMANDU: Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel has secured the title of Nepal's Leading Hotel 2026 at the World Travel Awards, marking international recognition for its role in the country's hospitality sector.

The award was announced during the World Travel Awards Asia, Oceania and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2026, which took place on Sunday at CROSSROADS Maldives. The event gathered major travel and tourism organisations from across the region.

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards celebrates excellence across the global tourism industry. For the Thamel-based lifestyle hotel, which features 167 rooms, wellness facilities, event spaces and the rooftop Nylgiri, the award represents another milestone and adds to a growing portfolio of national and international recognitions.
