TSN, CNIYEF partner to strengthen Nepal’s startup ecosystem

KATHMANDU: The Startup Network Nepal (TSN), managed by Ted Connect, and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen Nepal’s startup ecosystem.

Under the partnership, the two organisations will establish Founders Hub, a joint incubation and acceleration programme aimed at supporting 100 startups annually. The initiative will provide structured mentorship, business development support, industry linkages, investor readiness and potential funding opportunities.

The collaboration will leverage CNIYEF’s network of entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and investors to connect startups with capital. The two organisations will also establish joint criteria for pitching, evaluation and due diligence.

CNIYEF members will participate as mentors, advisers, judges and trainers, sharing practical business knowledge.

The organisations will conduct joint programmes in various cities beyond Kathmandu to broaden access to opportunities across regional entrepreneurial hubs. The overall objective is to support founders from the initial idea stage through to investment and scalable growth.
