Jagdamba Motors launches SHACMAN electric prime mover, tipper in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, under Shanker Group, has officially launched the SHACMAN X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover and the SHACMAN X5000e 6×4 Electric Tipper in Nepal in collaboration with Shaanxi Automobile Group. The launch marks SHACMAN’s entry into Nepal’s electric commercial vehicle segment.

The SHACMAN X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover is priced at Rs 20.5 million, while the SHACMAN X5000e 6×4 Electric Tipper is priced at Rs 23.5 million.

Designed for demanding commercial applications, the X5000e Electric Prime Mover is engineered for heavy haulage and long-distance transport, while the X5000e Electric Tipper is intended for construction, mining and other off-road applications.

Both models feature an electric powertrain and a 6×4 drivetrain, along with fast-charging capability, regenerative braking and intelligent battery management systems designed to support efficient vehicle operation. The SHACMAN X5000e models combine electric powertrain technology with features aimed at supporting driver comfort and operational efficiency, including air-suspended seats, multifunction steering, air conditioning and large instrument displays, alongside safety and control systems designed for heavy-duty commercial operations.
