KATHMANDU: InnoHub Services has announced a full waiver on partner fees for its Yango InnoHub riders to mark its first anniversary and the upcoming Bada Dashain festival. The company, which operates as a local fleet partner for the ride-hailing platform Yango in the Kathmandu Valley, is also preparing to double its current fleet of over 250 motorcycles to 500 following the Tihar festival.

During the festive period, the 0% partner fee ensures that riders can retain their entire earnings. The company noted that it has also distributed essential gear, including raincoats, power banks, and mobile phone holders, to dedicated riders to facilitate operations across various weather conditions. Furthermore, InnoHub mentioned plans to offer food and accommodation facilities to riders who meet specific criteria, although financial details regarding this scheme remain undisclosed.

The business primarily targets individuals who possess a motorcycle licence and riding experience but lack the financial means to purchase their own vehicle. By providing motorcycles without requiring an upfront payment, InnoHub aims to create self-employment opportunities within the ride-hailing sector. According to the company, riders can choose between a salary model or a rental arrangement after creating a Yango user account, completing the onboarding process, and submitting necessary documents such as their citizenship and driving licence.

InnoHub has been operating in partnership with Yango for approximately a year, currently engaging more than 500 riders. Yango operates by partnering with local entities like InnoHub rather than expanding solely through its own corporate offices, a model recently highlighted by a visit from Yango's global team to Nepal.

In addition to fleet expansion, a week-long bike exchange programme is scheduled for the final week of Asoj, targeting motorcycle and scooter riders. The event will allow individuals to trade in old two-wheelers of any brand for new ones, featuring high valuations, special discounts, and easy instalment plans. The exact dates and location will be announced soon.

To support the purchase of new vehicles, three special financing packages have been introduced for Yango riders. These include a 40% down payment option over a 60-month loan tenure at an 8.99% interest rate; a 50% down payment over 60 months at a 6.99% interest rate; and a 50% down payment over a 24-month tenure with a 0% interest rate.

Registration remains free for individuals wishing to join the platform to earn an income via motorcycle or car. Interested persons can complete the process at the company's office at Narayan Gopal Chowk, Maharajgunj, or obtain information via WhatsApp.

Marking its first anniversary, InnoHub expressed a commitment to introducing more refined and innovative ride-sharing services to the Nepali market in the coming days.
