KATHMANDU: Two Bills intended to split the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) were tabled in the House of Representatives on Friday.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Paudel registered the measures in parliament. He presented the Nepal Airlines Service Authority Bill, 2083, and the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority, 2083.
If the Bills are passed, they will enable the division of CAAN into separate entities. The proposals mark a significant step towards restructuring Nepal’s civil aviation governance.
