KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has directed liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) companies across the country to issue VAT bills to customers during gas sales.
The LP Gas and Aviation Department of NOC said it had received complaints that invoices were not being issued during LPG sales. Following the complaints, the department issued a circular to all LPG companies, reminding them of their obligation to provide Value Added Tax (VAT) bills.
The circular, signed by NOC Director and Engineer Binit Mani Upadhaya, states that similar letters had previously been sent to the concerned association on August 14, 2024, and January 23, 2025.
