KATHMANDU: Home appliance brand Midea has introduced a festive promotion on its free-standing cooking ranges in Nepal ahead of Tihar celebrations.
The company said the offer is aimed at helping households prepare a variety of meals for family gatherings during the festive season. Under the campaign, customers can purchase selected cooking ranges with cashback benefits.
Midea’s free-standing cooking ranges combine a cooktop and oven in a single unit and are designed for preparing multiple dishes simultaneously.
Two models, the FSC-600BX and FSC-6016ES, are available in the Nepali market. The FSC-600BX features a 60-litre gas oven, while the FSC-6016ES is equipped with a 61-litre electric oven.
Both models come with four gas burners of different sizes and heat outputs, enabling cooking at varying temperature levels. Other features include a convection fan, oven light, mechanical controls and push-button ignition.
The cooking ranges also include adjustable oven racks and a spacious oven cavity for baking, roasting and preparing multiple dishes. The appliances feature a stainless-steel finish and a modern control panel.
Midea is offering a two-year warranty on all free-standing cooking ranges. Customers purchasing the appliances during the Dashain and Tihar promotion period will also be eligible for instant cashback, subject to terms and conditions.
In Nepal, Midea products are distributed by CG Electronics, a subsidiary of the Chaudhary Group. The company’s products are available through authorised dealers, 22 CG Digital showrooms and the CG Digital online platform. Midea’s local product range also includes refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, dishwashers, microwave ovens, kitchen chimneys and small home appliances.
