Health Minister Mehta, Japanese ambassador discuss healthcare cooperation
KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta held a courtesy meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
During the discussion, Minister Mehta acknowledged Japan's longstanding support to major healthcare institutions in Nepal, including Bir Hospital, Paropakar Maternity Hospital and Kanti Children's Hospital.
