NiDARR App launched

The smartphone application release of the second version of  NiDARR: a self-help app to stay connected to friends, family, and local authorities to prevent violence was launched at an event held in the capital recently. With the help of NiDARR one can report incidents of gender based violence from anywhere in Nepal without the fear of social stigma or retaliation from the perpetrators. The founders of the app believe that with NiDARR, they have initiated a safe system to mitigate gender based violence in Nepal. The app was inaugurated by the Australian Ambassador HE Glenn White.
