World Vision Int’l Nepal makes public progress report for FY’22

KATHMANDU: World Vision International (WVI) Nepal has made public its annual progress report for the fiscal year 2022 (Nov 2021 – Oct 2022). Progress report of the child-focused, relief, development and advocacy organisation was disseminated at a programme organised in Kathmandu, on May 4. The report highlighted key achievements of the organisation in ensuring the well-being of the most vulnerable children, their families, and communities in the fiscal year 2022. The report showed that through multi-sectoral interventions, WVI Nepal reached out to 785,301 individuals of which 310,545 (39.5%) were children including 168,408 girls and 142,137 boys, and 6,292 people with disabilities. Addressing the programme, Roslyn Hanson Gabriel, National Director for WVI Nepal, lauded all the members and partners for working relentlessly to achieve the organisation's goal to improve the lives of 800,000 children by 2025 — in particular the most vulnerable ones, to be protected from violence, well-nourished, able to access quality and inclusive education and to experience positive and peaceful relationship in their families and communities.” [gallery columns="1" link="file" size="full" ids="36147,36146"] The event had a series of performances from the children they are supporting and a panel discussion on the topic of nutrition and its importance in the country. Various members of the House of Representatives, government officials, community representatives, civil society members, children, donor agencies, partners and representatives of like-minded organisations and mediapersons were present on the occasion.
