‘Made in Nepal’ exhibition commences at Bhat-Bhateni, Tangal

KATHMANDU:  The highly anticipated 'Made in Nepal: Hamro Pani, Ramro Pani' exhibition, organised by the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF) in collaboration with Bhat Bhateni Super Market (BBSM), commenced at Bhat-Bhateni, Tangal, on Saturday. [gallery size="full" link="file" ids="38226,38227,38232"] Minister for Industry, commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal inaugurated the event that aims to promote Nepali industries, products, and services while encouraging the use of locally made goods. The official launch of the Made in Nepal concept took place on July 11, 2006, at Hotel Annapurna. This weeklong exhibition has provided a platform for Nepali businesses to showcase their products and services. The exhibition will expand to all Bhat-Bhateni supermarkets across Nepal, beginning from the Tangal-based branch. [gallery columns="4" link="file" size="full" ids="38228,38231,38229,38230"] The event witnessed the presence of Sabitri Gurung, Founder/Director of BBSM; Ritesh Lamichhane, President of NYEF; and other members of the forum. Lamichhane emphasized the significance of exhibitions like 'Made in Nepal' in showcasing the immense potential of Nepali entrepreneurs. He stressed the need to raise public awareness about the wide range of high-quality products and services that are made in Nepal.
