Department of Industry orders Om Brewery not to use bottles of CG Brewery

KATHMANDU: The Department of Industry has ordered Om Brewery to stop the unauthorised use of the bottles of CG Brewery for Jomsom Strong Beer. It is learnt that Om Brewery uses CG Brewery bottles for Jomsom Strong Beer. Department of Industry Director General Baburam Gautam issued an interim order asking Om Brewery to stop the production and sale of Jomsom Strong Beer using the bottles of CG Brewery (Nepal) in accordance with Section 156 of National Civil (Code) Act, 2017 (2074). Om Brewery was said to be scratching the 'CG Brewery (Nepal) Pvt Ltd' mark from the bottles of Nepal Ice beer, and using them for Jomsom Strong Beer. Nepal Ice is a popular beer brand produced by CG Brewery (Nepal) among Nepali consumers. READ ALSO:
