Government to unveil budget at 1pm

KATHMANDU: The government is unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2024/25 today.

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun is set to present the budget at a joint session of both the lower and upper houses of the federal parliament at 1:00 pm today.

The Finance Minister will provide details on the estimated annual spending and revenue, as stated by the parliament secretariat.

In accordance with Article 119 of the Constitution of Nepal, 2072, the government is required to present the annual budget at a joint meeting of the federal parliament.
