Nepal launch of The Hindu Manifesto by Swami Vigyananand held in Pokhara

POKHARA: The Nepal launch of 'The Hindu Manifesto', authored by Swami Vigyananand, was held at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Pokhara, on Saturday.

The book is divided into eight sutras drawing on the wisdom of the Vedic shastras. The sutras focus on prosperity, national security, education, responsible democracy, respect for women, social harmony, environmental stewardship and respect for the motherland.

Swami Vigyananand is joint general secretary of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, founder and global chairman of the World Hindu Foundation, and chief organiser of the World Hindu Congress. He is known for his work in promoting Hindu values globally.

Following the launch, Swami Vigyananand delivered a keynote address at the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) Pokhara Chapter entitled ‘Integration of Spirituality into Business’.

Addressing the young entrepreneurs, he emphasised the need for a stable government and policy framework, the value of hard work, and the importance of strong branding and marketing communications for Nepal to realise its potential.
