4.8ML earthquake jolts Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale was recorded in Sindhupalchok district at 1:02 pm, also jolting Kathmandu Valley.

The National Earthquake Measuring and Research Centre reported that the epicentre was located at Majhitar in Sindhupalchok. Centre Spokesperson Monika Jha confirmed that today's earthquake was an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake.
