KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand and Company, the sole authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has launched the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 and Pulsar N125 in the Nepali market. The company is confident that these two new models, unveiled at the ongoing Bajaj Grand Carnival in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, will provide an exciting riding experience for Bajaj bike enthusiasts through a combination of power, technology, and design.
The new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is powered by a 164.82cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valve engine that produces 16 PS (11.7 kW) of brake horsepower and 14.65 Nm of torque. The motorcycle, which has a five-speed gearbox, offers smooth gear changes. It includes features such as dual-channel ABS, a 37mm upside-down fork, and Nitrox monoshock suspension. In addition to the features available in the dual-channel variant, turn-by-turn (TBT) navigation, ABS, and ride mode display are included.
Similarly, the Pulsar N125 is powered by a 124.58cc air-cooled, single-spark, 2-valve engine, which delivers a maximum power of 12 PS and a maximum torque of 11 Nm. It includes features such as a five-speed transmission and a counter balancer, and provides excellent fuel efficiency.
At the public event, Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, expressed his excitement, stating, “We are very happy to launch the new Pulsar N160 and N125 in Nepal. The Pulsar brand has always been known as a symbol of performance and innovation. While the N160 will establish its place in the market with power and design, the N125 will redefine fuel efficiency and the comfortable riding experience.”

Designed with a muscular and aerodynamic profile, the Pulsar N160 features a 14-litre fuel tank, a comfortable seat, and stylish 17-inch tubeless tyres. With a seat height of 795mm and a ground clearance of 165mm, it is suitable for both city rides and long-distance trips. Similarly, the Pulsar N125’s 795mm seat height, 198mm ground clearance, and 125kg kerb weight make it well-suited for Nepali roads.
Bookings for these models have begun at the ongoing Bajaj Grand Carnival in Bhrikutimandap, which will conclude on May 4. Customers attending the carnival will be offered special benefits, including on-site finance, guaranteed highest valuation from over 20 valuators, zero service charges, and a chance to win cash and other prizes under Bajaj's "Khushi Ko Meter" scheme. Free accessories will also be provided.
