KATHMANDU: MetLife Nepal has launched its annual Policy Reinstatement Campaign to enable policyholders to restore lapsed life insurance policies and maintain financial protection. The insurer will waive 100% of late fees for policies lapsed within five years of the due date and 60% for those lapsed beyond five years, allowing customers to reactivate their cover without full penalty charges.
Applications can be submitted via the company’s website, with premium payments accepted through eSewa, Connect IPS or the One by MetLife App.
Nirmal Kajee Shrestha, General Manager of MetLife Nepal, said “This campaign is part of our continued effort to help customers stay protected and confidently plan for the future. We urge all eligible policyholders to take this opportunity and secure their life goals.”
