
KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba departed Kathmandu today for Rome to attend the 44th session of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Conference.
The conference will run from June 28 to July 4.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Minister Rana will address the main session and other high-level events.
Her delegation includes Nepal’s ambassador to Austria and permanent representative to the FAO, Bharat Kumar Regmi, and officials from the MoFA and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD).
After the conference, Minister Rana will participate in programmes organised by Investment Board Nepal in Milan, Italy, and Hamburg and Berlin in Germany.
Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and other senior ministry officials saw her off at Tribhuvan International Airport this morning.
