Kathford hosts 2nd edition of BizBuzz 2025 competition

KATHMANDU: Kathford International College of Engineering and Management hosted the second edition of BizBuzz 2025 on Friday. 

The event brought together students from eight of Nepal’s leading universities in a series of inter-college business challenges.  

Ten competitions tested participants’ creativity, teamwork and strategic thinking as they vied to showcase innovation, leadership and entrepreneurial acumen.  

Prime College emerged as the overall winner, with Shanker Dev Campus claiming second place and Nepal Commerce Campus finishing third.  

Chief guests at the event were Kamal Gautam, CEO of United Ajod Insurance, and Mohan Ojha, President of the Management Association of Nepal. Entrepreneurs, influencers and alumni also attended as judges, speakers and mentors.  

The one-day event provided a high-energy platform for students to apply their classroom knowledge in practical scenarios. Representatives from international higher-education consultancies were on hand to advise attendees on study opportunities abroad.
